Facilitation is about making conversations work. We help groups think clearly together, address what really matters and make progress, even when the subject matter is complex, sensitive or contested.
Facilitation is not just about running meetings. It is about designing and holding conversations so that people can contribute fully, stay focused and work productively with difference.
Designing facilitation that is clear in intent and realistic about context
Managing complex or sensitive conversations without losing focus or trust

How do we do it?

ThinkTeam facilitates structured workshops, advisory groups, forums and partnership discussions. Our approach is grounded in careful design, attention to purpose and the ability to respond confidently to what is happening in the room.
We actively support groups to work with challenge, surface assumptions and make sense of what is emerging.

Why do we do it?

Many organisations rely on meetings and workshops to move work forward, but lack the facilitation skills needed to make those conversations meaningful and effective. Discussions can drift, avoid difficult issues or become dominated by a small number of voices. Important insights are lost and momentum slows.
Strong facilitation changes this and conversations become purposeful. Facilitation also helps ensure different voices are heard, not just the loudest or most confident.
Alongside delivery, ThinkTeam also builds facilitation capability within organisations, working with people to develop the skills and confidence to facilitate effectively themselves.

Where have we done it?

ThinkTeam has facilitated conversations across public services, partnerships and community focused programmes, often where decisions are complex and scrutiny is high. Across this work, ThinkTeam is trusted to bring structure, clarity and momentum to conversations that matter.

Our work includes:

Acting as a specialist adviser and facilitator within the Natur am Byth! programme, facilitating advisory group discussions that shape programme values, strategic direction and approaches to engagement across multiple conservation projects.
Facilitating the Uncomfortable Conversations About Race forum within Natural Resources Wales, holding space for challenging dialogue and respectful and constructive discussion.
